If today were your last day, would you have No Regrets?

If today were your last day, would you have No Regrets?

16 years ago, I had to bury my previous wife and all 4 children in Liberty, Missouri. Next to identifying their bodies the weekend before in Emporia, Kansas after the 2003 Kansas Turnpike Flash Flood, it was the most difficult “valley of the shadow of death” I’ve ever traversed.

As we ponder death, it helps put life in proper perspective.

Every funeral and every death has a way of bringing life to a sudden halt. Each one reminds us of just how fragile life is, how thin the veil truly is between this world and the next, between this brief opportunity for conversion and that moment of judgment.

Allow this encounter with eternity to compel you to turn from sin and back to the Lord, and to turn from the world’s attractions and back to your family.

Live today through the lens of “No Regrets.”
Life today as if it were your last.

If today were your last day, would you have No Regrets?

“Remember what it says: ‘Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts…'” (Hebrews 3:15)
